CRE Internship Program
Overview
Accelerate CRE offers enriching learning experiences and hands-on opportunities for high school students from underrepresented backgrounds to explore careers in real estate and positively impact their communities. Launched by NAIOP and Colliers in 2021, this paid internship connects students with local companies in Milwaukee, promoting diversity in the commercial real estate industry.

For Employers
Colliers and NAIOP partner with diverse organizations to expose students to the commercial real estate industry and connect them with career opportunities. Employers are expected to:
Attend Career Fairs
Create Job Descriptions
Conduct Interviews
Provide daily check-ins and task preparation
Offer shadowing opportunities
Maintain Communication with school program directors
For Students
The internship provides career exploration, project flexibility, and industry insights. Students will build relationships with professionals and peers while gaining valuable experience in a stable and thriving industry.
